Two worlds, one vision
When an iconic Italian design company like Pininfarina and F1 racing legend and Indy 500 champion of the caliber of Emerson Fittipaldi, decide to develop together a supercar, the result can only be dramatic.
It was at the Geneva Motor Show that the Fittipaldi EF7 Vision Gran Turismo has been unveiled to the public for the first time. This is the first car released under the new brand Fittipaldi Motors. This company is focused on creating and engineering Supercars utilizing advanced lightweight technologies, racing technologies, efficient powertrain structures, enhanced safety, autonomous vehicle intelligence, and most important owner satisfaction.
The EF7 project has permitted to the Brazilian champion to realize his dream to produce a car with fierce track racing capabilities, for drivers of all skill levels.
To turn this dream into a special and unique supercar, Emerson Fittipaldi started from explaining to Pininfarina’s team what it truly feels like to be behind the steering wheel of a championship racecar. There is adrenaline and elation all rolled into an awe-inspiring inner fulfillment that leaves you craving for more. That was the principal motivation to create the EF7 Vision Gran Turismo by Pininfarina.
Developed during 3 years, the car is carrying the Pininfarina’s DNA in every detail. Indeed, with flowing and at the same time aggressive lines, the design is inspired by the shark. The Italian designers gave life to this theme that inspired Emerson Fittipaldi.
The supercar reveals a sleek design, beautiful and pure and above all an impressive power-to-weight ratio thanks, among other things, to the use of carbon fiber. The carbon fiber monocoque is a specially designed safety capsule for both driver and passenger, enabling drivers to feel comfortable in the car, even while at its limits.
But beyond an aggressive style, the Fittipaldi intends to demonstrate its sportiness through its performances and for that it can count on a powerful V8, an integrated gearbox, a suspension and braking system developed by the German HWA AG. Presenting a condensation of racing technology, it also boasts a very low center of gravity.
The customers who can afford a car of this limited production, can benefit from personal coaching by Emerson Fittipaldi himself and will have the possibility to personalize both car interior and exterior.
For those who cannot afford to buy an EF7 Vision Gran Turismo by Pininfarina, the car is available in the Playstation videogame, Gran Turismo Sport.
