Since its launch, the Peugeot 3008 continues to collect the awards. The French SUV triumphs in the four corners of the world. To end a prolific year, he has just won the award for the family car of the year in South Africa awarded by “Drive 360”.
As every year, a jury of journalists groups all the new models launched in South Africa for drive tests to determine the winning cars by categories namely, compact, leasure cars, luxury and family cars.
It is in this last category that the Peugeot 3008 distinguished itself. The French SUV seduced the jury, thanks in the first place to its elegant exterior line but also thanks to its interior with the famous i-Cockpit and the various innovative equipment it uses.
The versatile SUV left no room for other models in the family car category that featured models like the Mada CX-5, Hyundai Elantra, Toyota C-HR and VW Golf GTD.
“We are proud of this recognition and the award for the Peugeot 3008,” said Francisco Gaie, General Manager of Peugeot Citroën South Africa, “The Peugeot 3008 really stands out for its combination of eye-catching design, comfort and user-friendliness.”
He adds: “Peugeot has thought a lot about the new design of the 3008. It fits perfectly into its market and meets the expectations of demanding customers in a very competitive segment.”
