The Nissan LEAF has unveiled its new generation. The Japanese, 100% electric, is the incarnation of the brand’s Intelligent Mobility vision.
The LEAF is the first Nissan in Europe to use the most advanced technologies of the brand. Indeed, it has 3 innovative driving technologies.
It is equipped with an e-pedal driving aid system.
This option allows the driver to start, accelerate and brake with the same pedal. Simply adjust the pressure on the accelerator pedal.
The Japanese also has the right to the ProPILOT which is a technology of autonomous driving. To provide the driver with a more relaxing ride, this system keeps the vehicle in its lane on a fast track.
Finally, to avoid parking, the new LEAF uses the ProPILOT Park which controls the steering, acceleration, braking, shifting and automatically guides the vehicle.
Nissan took advantage of this opportunity also to increase its autonomy which thus passed to 378 km in a single load according to the New European Driving Cycle (NEDC). But the Japanese brand will not stop there since it plans to launch, at the end of 2018 a version with increased autonomy and especially more powerful.
This new generation has a power of 150 hp and a torque of 320 Nm.
