To surprise the public at the Dubai International Motor Show, Range Rover has chosen to unveil, on its world premiere, two very special models on its stand.
In fact, the Jaguar Land Rover stand is currently home to the Range Rover Dynamic SVAutobiograph and the Range Rover Sport SVR, which are a pure product of the JLR Group’s Special Vehicles Division (SVO).
It is no coincidence that the international launch was scheduled in Dubai during the largest motor show in the Middle East. It must be said that the brand has a loyal clientele in the region.
As Bruce Robertson, Managing Director of Jaguar Land Rover MENA, put it so well:“As the owner of a Range Rover you are already in an exclusive club. With the Range Rover SVAutobiography Dynamic and Range Rover Sport SVR from our SVO division, new owners will be entering even more rarefied territory and truly reaching the very pinnacles of comfort and performance in the luxury SUV segment.”
For Range Rover Sport, the SVR version stands out for its power and performance. Indeed, it is entitled to a 5.0-liter V8 that develops a power of 575 hp and a torque of 700 Nm. With this configuration, it drops the 0 to 100 km / h in only 4.5 seconds while the maximum speed has been announced at 283 km / h. Aesthetically also, it has benefited from some external changes, in particular, with a new specific bonnet design in carbon fiber composite with integrated air vents.
Regarding the SVAutobiography Dynamic, it is on all fronts since it seeks to offer its customers the best in comfort and exclusivity without neglecting, however, its performance. Like the Range Rover Sport SVR, it is animated by a 5.0-liter V8 block but this time displays a power of 565 hp.
Bruce Robertson concludes: “We at Jaguar Land Rover know how much our Middle East customers value that very rare combination of high performance, ultra-luxury and genuine exclusivity in a vehicle. In both the astonishingly quick 2018 Range Rover Sport SVR and the supremely opulent 2018 Range Rover SVAutobiography Dynamic they will find these
highly prized characteristics in abundance. Choosing one over the other may be the most difficult choice a Range Rover owner may ever have to make!”
