Romeo y Julieta Capuletos is the first limited edition for Switzerland in 2016. The Capuletos measures 6 inches in length with a 53 ring gauge. Limited editions are made from the best tobacco leaves in the Vuelta Abajo region. All tobacco leaves used for limited editions are aged at least two years before cigar making. With this mildly habano, enthusiasts will enjoy the brand’s balanced and scented blend in a new format.
Romeo and Julieta Capuletos 2016 Edición Limitada hot its launch in the Italian city of Verona on 21 September. Ceo of Diadema S.p.A., strategic marketing director of Habanos in Italy and Habanos, S.A. were on hand for the event.
The two names Verona and Capuletos clearly refered to the literary work of Shakespeare, Romeo y Julieta and the Veronese family Capulet.
The evening was held in a very exclusive environment, with the presence of 170 guests, among them Habanos specialists, representatives of Italian smoking clubs, exclusive Habanos distributors from other countries, media and influencers.
Andrea Vincenzi, ceo of Diadema S.p.A and José María López, Strategic Marketing Director of Habanos, S.A., had the honor to illustrate the features of the new Habano Capuletos. With this international launch, Habanos, S.A., applies its new strategy to develop Habanos annual launches in different cities around the world in order to bring its products closer to Habanos enthusiasts around the world.
This event took place in a very special and unique place, with views of the historic city of Verona, videos of the Romeo y Julieta brand, live music and the collaboration of Vinos Chianti and Havana Club International, traditional partners Of Habanos, SA in this kind of events.
The evening ended on the tasting of Habanos, such as Romeo y Julieta, Short Churchill and Capuletos 2016 Edición Limitada. All participants also received a special gift containing two Habanos de Romeo and Julieta Capuletos Limited Edition 2016, launched at the event.
